CAR INSURANCE. Cheaper car insurance?

There are 3 drivers in our house (Dad-more then 25yrs driving, me-2yrs and my brother- about 5 yrs) and two cars, BMW and AUDI Both less then 5 yrs old(usualy 3), general driving would be commuting but some social too...is there a cheaper way to insure all of us on all the cars?

This will be the first time, I own and insure a car. It will be a new model, either 2006 or 2007 sedan or SUV. I am 25 years old. I am a female. I have had my DL for 3-4 years now. I've only been insured under my mother's insurance (for short times, while visiting her in the States!) Upon, buying my own new vechile, in Canada, I was wondering, what the range would be for: A.) Are there any schools out there that offer their teachers affordable family insurance?

My husband is a full-time teacher. I work part-time and am a grad. student. He has great insurance for himself, but I have to pay for my own separately. To add me to his plan would cost us $650.00 a month (adding 1 to 9 people is one lump sum, $650). I can barely afford what I pay on my own ($160+) and then there's the deductible... (basically my insurance doesn't end up paying for anything... it all comes out of my pocket). I guess I just always assumed that if a person had a good full-time job that family insurance would be included or affordable... It's not even an option. Seriously, who can afford $650 a month and on a teacher's salary? Is there any school out there that has a better insurance plan? We love where we are, but we can't afford to live. Is there a light at the end of the tunnel?

I now have health insurance through my work, and coverage started on September 1st (I have United Healthcare through T-mobile, if that matters). He seems to think that because he has third party insurance , I am able to drive his cause because the third party insurance will cover me in case of an accident.
